jeff

A born and raised New Yorker, Jeff attended U.C.L.A School of Law and has been a practicing California attorney specializing in real estate, business and litigation matters since 1981.  He has filed and defended hundreds of cases, representing the full spectrum of clients from major financial institutions to medium and small businesses and individuals in trial courts and courts of appeal throughout the state.  Jeff was lead counsel in a complex multi-jurisdiction matter that resulted in a 15 million dollar judgment in favor of his client.  He has written and lectured on various legal subjects, served as a judge pro tem, mediator and court-appointed arbitrator.  Jeff prides himself on the personal relationships he has with his clients and is proud to have had a number of clients who have been with him for decades. Jeff and Helga have been working together since 2011 and formed BerkeHakimi in 2012.  Jeff is an avid sports and rock and roll fan.
